Good morning web users,
It is Tuesday December 2nd 2008. WOW, the year is almost complete. Did you accomplish your goals. Have you even set any goals. I have one more to complete. I hope to accomplish this. I had so much to do this year. Between school and training down time has been to a minimum. What have I accomplished. I have finished a few personal defense courses a couple fitness courses. I have traveled to Japan and completed my Go-Dan (5th level) test. Did some outstanding training. Next year my goals consist of buying a house increasing my life coaching business. Maybe a trip back to Japan. Straighten out all my training notes. Increasing my training partners by 100 percent. Perhaps you just don't know how to set a goal. Do you know how to stick to a goal? Can you break the goal up into smaller achievements?

First sit down or however you are comfortable and start writing down all the things you would like to accomplish. Now look at the list and choose the one that interests you the most. What do you need in addition to what you already know to accomplish this goal is it monetary, time, or something else.
How can you get to this GOAL this is your planing stage. How long will it take for you to accomplish this goal. I know when I plane my trip to Japan it costs around $3500.00 dollars for the trip. I divide up the months till I go wich is about 15 months. That means I need to bank $233.00 a month for the trip 3500 divided by 15 months. That is a lot of money a month depending on your budget you may need to extend the trip further out. For this goal we want a plan to finish something the coming year. You can have more than one goal I usually have two or three going at the same time and as I complete one I get busy on another.

Next I always write my goal down and keep it close by so when the going gets tough I can remind myself what I am trying to accomplish. Sometimes it means doing odd jobs and sometimes it means putting up with people who I normally would not associate with. I also put in checkpoints if it is a big goal and break those check points up to make sure I am on target if it is a year goal i make sure I check it every 3 months. 3 x 4 = 12. You can make more or less most important is to make sure you stay on track.
Speaking of being on track, did you know that is the job of a Life Coach to keep you on track. I love that part of my job. I am the checkpoint for my clients.
If you need help accomplishing a goal or need additional information please contact me. I can help you come up with a goal or accomplish one.
